Managing large product catalogs manually can be time-consuming. This article explains how to use the Bulk Upload feature in SmartHub to add multiple products to your catalog quickly and efficiently using an Excel template. Using bulk upload helps reduce manual effort, improves listing accuracy, and ensures your products are updated faster on your storefront, enabling customers to discover and purchase your products seamlessly.
Prerequisites
Before starting the bulk upload process, ensure that:
- You have access to your SmartHub seller account.
- You have the product information ready, including mandatory product details.
- You are familiar with the SmartHub product management dashboard.
Access the Products Dashboard
Step 1: Sign in to SmartHub
Go to SmartHub and sign in to your SmartHub seller account.
Step 2: Open the Products Dashboard
From the left navigation menu, click Products to open the product management dashboard.
Step 3: Access Add/Manage Products
Click Add/Manage Products to view your existing product listings and available product management actions.
Step 4: Navigate to Bulk Upload
Click Bulk Upload to begin adding multiple products at once.
Download and Fill the Product Template
Step 5: Select the Operation Type
Under the bulk upload section, click Operation Type and select the relevant action.
Step 6: Choose Add New Product
Select Add New Product to upload new products to your catalog.
Step 7: Download the Product Template
Click Download Template to download the Excel template required for bulk product uploads.
Step 8: Add Product Details to the Template
Open the downloaded template and add your product information.
Ensure that:
- All mandatory fields are completed.
- Product titles, pricing, inventory, and images are accurate.
- Product details are entered in the correct format.

SmartHub SKU: Enter a SmartHub SKU of your choice.
Note:- For OMS, the SmartHub SKU can either match your Amazon mSKU or be different.
- For WMS, the SmartHub SKU must exactly match your Amazon mSKU.

Provide the following details:- Length (cm)
- Width (cm)
- Height (cm)
- Weight (kg)

Has MRP?
Select “FALSE” from the dropdown menu. -
Batch ID Required?
Select “FALSE” from the dropdown menu. -
Has Serial Number?
Select “FALSE” from the dropdown menu. -
Has Expiry?
- Select “TRUE” if the product has an expiry date.
- Select “FALSE” if the product does not have an expiry date.

Pad Time (Days)
Leave this field blank if “Has Expiry” is set to “FALSE.”
Saving accurate information helps avoid upload errors and improves the customer shopping experience.
Upload Product Data and Track Status
Step 9: Upload the Completed Template
Once the product details are added, save the file and click Upload to submit your product data for processing.
Step 10: Monitor Upload Job Status
After uploading the file, click Job Status to track the progress of your upload.
The upload status helps you:
- Identify successful uploads.
- Review failed uploads.
- Correct errors and re-upload products if needed.
Step 11: Verify Products in All Products
Once the upload is completed successfully, click All Products to verify that the products have been added to your catalog.
